Immerse yourself in ancestral know-how in the heart of nature, and let yourself be guided in the discovery of local soils, in particular clay, a natural resource used for millennia to create, care for and build, during a workshop as enriching as it is creative.

Course of the activity (2h) :

• A walk to discover the different types of clay, with a particular focus on clay, its identification in the natural environment and its varied uses.
• Learn how to harvest, purify and prepare clay for various uses: pottery, construction, cosmetics and medicine.
• Practical introduction to modelling with the creation of a small pot using the ancestral pinched bowl technique.

The aim of this workshop is to teach you the basics of working with clay, from its discovery in nature to its concrete transformation, while exploring its essential role throughout civilizations. A simple, playful and creative moment... to experience and share!
