Departing from Saint-Nazaire–Montoir Airport, take the time to explore the coastal and inland landscapes. The ocean, marshes, estuaries, and rivers offer several possible routes for a flight planned with your pilot.

For 90 minutes, the views change and the landscapes unfold one after another. Even without the sound of the waves, you can easily recognize the Atlantic.

Loire-Atlantique—which direction appeals to you?

The coastline and the Guérande peninsula: you can head toward La Baule Bay, Le Pouliguen, and the wild coast, then explore Batz-sur-Mer, Le Croisic, and the salt marshes. Nearby, the Guérande salt marshes form a mosaic of basins whose colors shift with the light.
The Vilaine River and La Roche-Bernard: heading north, the route can take you toward the Vilaine estuary, then along the river’s meanders and the area around La Roche-Bernard, with its bridges and harbor. It offers a different atmosphere, blending coastal scenery with wooded riverbanks.
The Loire Estuary and Brière: You can also choose to explore the Loire Estuary, with views of Saint-Nazaire and the Saint-Brevin coastline, or the landscapes of Brière, where canals, meadows, and marshes form a serene landscape when viewed from the ground.
