Introduction to multi-axis microlight flying in Pays de la Loire

Activity description :

Instructor and passionate professional, Hervé offers you to take the controls of his microlight to discover the panoramas of the Pays Nantais and Retz. You will take place on board a Savannah S-ICP 2 seats (the pilot and you) entirely in aluminium equipped with a 100 hp engine. The cockpit is closed and heated.

Microlight in Pays de la Loire: guaranteed sensations

From the base in St Nazaire, you will take off towards the West to reach the coast and the ocean. You will be able to appreciate the landscapes of the Jade and Amur coasts, the Loire estuary, depending on the direction, the Ile de Noirmoutier, La Baule or the Pointe du Croisic, and, for flights of 1h30 or 2h, the Ile d'Yeu or the Gulf of Morbihan in Brittany. During your trip, you will be able to discover various remarkable sites, such as castles and manors or other atypical places.

Course of the flight :

• Welcome at the base: meeting with the instructor, briefing on safety rules, the different components of the aircraft and the course of the flight.
• Installation in the microlight and final briefing.
• Take-off by the instructor.
• Flight from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the chosen formula: you will take control of the microlight and carry out various manoeuvres. The instructor will help you understand the fundamentals of flight mechanics.
• The instructor will take over the controls for the landing.
• Debriefing with the instructor pilot.

This introductory flight will combine the pleasures of travel with the fundamentals of flying. To live or to offer, it is a superb experience.
