In addition to being historically known as the “paragliding capital,” Annecy offers a chance to discover one of France’s most beautiful lakes, set against the backdrop of the Bauges Massif and the Aravis Range. The Haute-Savoie region and its mountains overlooking the lake will leave you in awe during this flight. You’ll be accompanied by a professional paragliding school affiliated with the French Free Flight Federation.

Flight Itinerary

• Welcome, briefing on the basics of paragliding, how it works, and safety instructions.
• Your instructor will take care of all the preparations for takeoff.
• A very short run-up, and that’s it—you’re flying! Enjoy the view and the thrill! Take the controls if you’d like, and ask your instructor to perform one or two maneuvers.
• You’ll land gently to catch your breath and debrief on the incredible sensations you’ve just experienced.

The flight offered:

• The Thermal Flight: Duration: 20 to 25 minutes - Departures: 12:00 PM, 1:15 PM, or 2:30 PM - Nearly half an hour of flight using thermal currents to gain altitude. You might even have the chance to share your flight with some of the birds of prey that call the valley home. An introduction to paragliding and thrills guaranteed. - Max weight: 90 kg
