Stéphane will take you on a tandem paragliding flight over Lake Annecy. Enjoy the gentle, pleasant air currents as you glide through this postcard-perfect setting. Lake Annecy is one of the most beautiful spots for paragliding.
Annecy: A Unique Spot for Paragliding
In addition to being historically known as the “paragliding capital,” Annecy offers a chance to discover one of France’s most beautiful lakes, set against the backdrop of the Bauges Massif and the Aravis Range. The Haute-Savoie region and its mountains overlooking the lake will leave you in awe during this flight. You’ll be accompanied by a professional paragliding school affiliated with the French Free Flight Federation.
Flight Itinerary
- Welcome, briefing on the basics of paragliding, how it works, and safety instructions.
- Your instructor will take care of all the preparations for takeoff.
- A very short run-up, and that’s it—you’re flying! Enjoy the view and the thrill! Take the controls if you’d like, and ask your instructor to perform one or two maneuvers.
- You’ll land gently to catch your breath and debrief on the incredible sensations you’ve just experienced.
The flight offered:
- The Thermal Flight: Duration: 20 to 25 minutes - Departures: 12:00 PM, 1:15 PM, or 2:30 PM - Nearly half an hour of flight using thermal currents to gain altitude. You might even have the chance to share your flight with some of the birds of prey that call the valley home. An introduction to paragliding and thrills guaranteed. - Max weight: 90 kg

Impressive activity, but a big disappointment from the very first exchanges. I booked a time slot, but it was only after booking, in the confirmation message, that we learned that we had to arrive 30 minutes early. No clear mention in the description of the activity, which is a real lack of professionalism. We were coming from far away, with a bus every two hours, which made timing complicated. We explained the situation to the staff, but they remained closed and unsympathetic, insisting that we would not be reimbursed. The only solution we were offered was to take an Uber at over €50, which we had to accept, adding stress and cost to our day. I was very disappointed that this was the tone and attitude of our initial exchanges, especially for an activity that we were very much looking forward to. Our beautiful vacation experience was largely spoiled by this lack of listening and organization. On arrival, we were told that this kind of problem happens regularly, which clearly shows that the problem lies with them and not with the customers. We might as well point out the actual arrival times instead of blaming the customers. During the activity, the instructors were fortunately friendly and professional, which made up for the experience a little. On the other hand, a big black mark: it's up to us, the customers, to hold the GoPro for almost the entire flight. Other companies have a much more suitable mounting system.

To be recommended+++. Super professional team of instructors, super friendly and educational. As the weather conditions on the day we booked were not ideal, we were offered the following day and honestly no regrets as the weather was perfect for a top flight with instructors happy as kids and letting us take the controls so we could twirl in the air. Too good 👍

Thanks Frank, the flight was incredible, and the photos superb! Not being a fan of heights, I was a bit apprehensive about my 1st paragliding flight. But this fear left me immediately when we took off, giving way to wonderful sensations.

- Go to the MyPlayground chalet 1/2 hour before your flight to check-in and validate your reservation. Don't hesitate to call the secretary's office if necessary.
- Recommended attire: seasonal clothing, closed-toe shoes and sunglasses.
- For minors, parental authorization is required to take part in the activity.
