Activity description :

Learn how to make macaroons with your child at an English-language workshop offered by Galeries Lafayette. In their famous premises at 40 Boulevard Haussmann in Paris's 9th arrondissement, you'll spend 1h30 concocting these little treats.

Course of the pastry class (1h30):

Learn the tricks of the trade from a French pastry chef for successful macaroons.
Discover the steps involved in making macaroons, from the shell to the ganache and the filling with a piping bag.
Make at least 4 macaroons to eat in or take away.

The workshop takes place on Wednesdays at 10.30am, 2pm and 5pm. All sessions are given in English.

The workshop is specifically designed for children aged 5 to 12! In a friendly atmosphere, you'll love making macaroons in a simple way that you can reproduce at home.

Very good business. Marie, the pastry chef, gives very good advice and the atmosphere is excellent. What's more, despite the fact that the workshop is initially in English, Marie adapted to take over everything in French for my daughter! Thanks to her for this great moment of family sharing! And those lovely macaroons waiting to be tasted!

Convivial, very pleasant family time. It was very well explained, and we had everything we needed to make beautiful macaroons. We left with 3 chocolate macaroons and 3 pistachio macaroons. A real treat :)

Number of participants: from 4 to 16.

Please bring your ID and tickets to access the workshop on the day. Accompanying adults must also have a ticket.
All children must be aged between 5 and 12 and accompanied by an adult. If you do not meet one of these conditions, you may be refused access to the family workshop.
