Rafting discovery in Foix

Guided tour - Approx. 2 hrs. - Accessible river - From age 8

The discovery run stretches over 3 km between the Ferrières hydroelectric plant and the Foix whitewater stadium. Aboard a raft that can accommodate 4 to 8 people, you'll discover the thrills of whitewater while admiring the Ariège landscape. This very stable inflatable boat allows you to navigate rapids in complete safety, while taking advantage of calmer moments to enjoy the surrounding countryside.

Your guide

You'll be accompanied by a state-qualified instructor, who'll guide you down the rapids and teach you how to steer the boat in the best possible conditions.

How does it work?

When you arrive at the base, your guide will give you the equipment you need for the descent and explain the safety instructions. Once you're ready, we'll take you to the starting point, where you'll board the raft and enjoy a safe, supervised adventure on the river until you arrive at the Foix whitewater stadium.
