The via ferrata at Thônes is renowned for its difficulty. It includes a number of overhanging sections and is fairly long.

Guided route - Intermediate - 4h - 10 mn walk to the top

Meet your instructor in Thônes, where he'll explain the equipment and help you don your harness. You will then follow him on a hiking trail that takes around ten minutes to reach the start of the via ferrata.

After a full safety briefing, the climb can begin, including a monkey bridge. The Thônes via ferrata is renowned for its steep profile and overhanging sections, making it a fairly demanding route.

All along the way, the instructor is there to reassure you and accompany you all the way. At the end of the route, you have two options: cross an impressive overhang or climb a ladder facing the void. The final section offers some fine passages, more aerial and with more direct contact with the rock.

The relatively long and technical descent concludes this sporting adventure.
