Self-guided tour - 2h - 5 to 8 min approach walk - 45 m depth
The Via Ferrata underground at Caille offers an impressive experience with its stalactites and stalagmites, and above all with its demanding course that works the whole body: descent into the cave, crossing monkey bridges and climbing, making the experience much more sporting than you might imagine!
- Welcome at the reception chalet and equipment preparation: you'll receive a wetsuit to wear, boots if your size is available, a helmet with headlamp, and the instructor will help you install a harness.
- Safety briefing and introductory course: explanation of the most important points for carrying out this activity in complete autonomy and safety.
- Via Souterrata in total autonomy for around 1h30
- Thereare two ways to exit the Via Souterrata: either via a ladder, or via a sports exit with handholds.
- Return to the reception chalet, debrief with your instructor and return your equipment.

Thanks to all the team, super organization, flexible and available! We had a great time all round. The welcome by a certain Charli and his "legendary" jokes, followed by the preparation before being thrown into the deep end (hole). A great activity for small groups! We were a group of 10 doing the via souterrata: a mix of grandparents and grandchildren! You really have to be careful with children's height: there's a monkey bridge that only adults can use. But they can go under it. Very friendly staff. We had a great time

Totally unique and fantastic! A great time with friends. Equipment provided (wetsuit, helmet, gloves, boots if available, and lamp) and explanations with a test before going underground. On the other hand, you'll need a minimum level of physical fitness (in fact, you'll need to be in normal physical condition), and heavier people will have a hard time, as some of the narrow passages require a bit of flexibility. Younger people do better. Allow at least 1h30 underground. A must-do. Perfect temperature for this activity. We recommend it.

Know before you go
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Minimum height: 1.35 m
- Maximum waist circumference: 125 cm
- Gloves included
- A minimum of 2 participants is required for this activity to take place (one adult and one minor or 2 adults).
- Call desks are available at the entrance, exit and in the cave, so you can contact the instructor if you need to during the course.
- Please bring closed shoes
