No experience is required: your pilot handles the takeoff, flight, and landing.

Southern Tenerife from Above
Thanks to its stable climate, the island is ideal for flying year-round. Your pilot will choose the takeoff site based on the day’s weather and your skill level—for example, Taucho or Ifonche, in the hills above Adeje. The pilot will also choose the flight path. The flight takes place at an altitude between 700 and 1,100 meters. You’ll fly over the valleys and volcanic landscapes of the island’s south, then along the coastline of Costa Adeje, with La Gomera on the horizon.
Flight Details
- Pickup: A vehicle will pick you up at your hotel about 30 minutes before the flight and take you to the takeoff site.
- Safety briefing: Your pilot will explain the safety instructions and the run-up, then fit you with a helmet and harness.
- Takeoff and flight: After a few steps to build momentum, you’ll enjoy a 20- to 25-minute flight over the mountains and the coast. Your pilot will look for air currents to gain altitude.
- Landing and return: You’ll land gently, and then the vehicle will take you back to your hotel. Allow 1.5–2 hours in total.
