Want to experience the skies over Tenerife in a different way? Our partner offers a 25-minute tandem paramotor flight, piloted by a certified professional. Unlike traditional paragliding, this flight takes off from flat ground —no need to climb a mountain or launch from a slope. No experience is required.
It’s a great alternative to paragliding for those who prefer a gentle takeoff or want to try a different way of flying. Pickup from your hotel is included.
Paramotor: a motorized paraglider
The basic principle is the same as paragliding: a flexible wing and a two-seater harness. An engine mounted at the rear provides the extra thrust needed to take off from the ground and gain altitude, without relying on the terrain. The flight takes place at an altitude of between 200 and 500 meters. At this height, you get a close-up view of the landscape and the coastline.

Thanks to its stable climate, the island is ideal for flying year-round. From your seat, you’ll fly over the volcanic landscapes and villages of the island’s south, then along the coastline of Costa Adeje, facing the Atlantic Ocean.
Flight Details
- Pickup: A vehicle will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the takeoff site.
- Safety briefing: Your pilot will introduce you to the paramotor and explain the safety procedures, then fit you with a helmet and harness.
- Takeoff and flight: After a short run on the flat ground, you’ll take off for a 25-minute flight over the southern part of the island.
- Landing and return: You’ll land gently, and then the vehicle will take you back to your hotel. Allow 1.5–2 hours in total.
