Activity description :

Come and discover the Bergerie Nationale in Rambouillet's immersive show on the life of shepherds.

On March 23 and 24, 2024, at 3:45pm and 5pm, the Bergerie Nationale welcomes you back to school for the new "Initiation to Sheep Breeding Techniques" session.

Course of the show:

For around 1 hour, the group learns the basics of sheep breeding: the history of the Rambouillet Merino sheep, the use of flock dogs, sheep shearing and the use of wool, balanced nutrition through plant recognition, animal care...
Theoretical and practical tests are offered during the course.
At the end of the 1st day, students validate their knowledge and receive a diploma!
