Leather goods workshop in Ancteville (50)

Activity description :

Come and discover leatherwork with Virginie, artisan saddler and leatherworker. She'll be opening the doors of her workshop in La Manche, near Granville, for introductory workshops ranging from 3 hours to 2 days.

Workshop schedule (3 hours to 2 days) :

• Choice of leather.
• Tracing of various templates.
• Cut the leather with a cutter or hide punch.
• Assembly of different templates.
• Machine or hand sewing (your choice).
• Leave with your own 100% handmade leather creation.

The different workshops on offer:

• Parent / child pencil case workshop (3h): 4-handed creation of a school pencil case - From age 7.
• Leather pouch workshop (4h): creation of a small leather pouch.
• Handbag workshop (2 days): create a shoulder bag.

This is a great workshop for those wishing to discover the craft of leatherworking while creating their own little leather pouch!
