Discover Thai cuisine and its rich, balanced flavors, which blend umami, curry, lemongrass, and red basil, among other ingredients. Over the course of 3 hours, guided by the chef, you’ll discover the basics of this hearty cuisine and learn how to combine the spices, herbs, and signature ingredients of Thai cuisine.

Course Outline:

• You’ll discover the main spices and herbs used in Thai cuisine and learn how to measure them out to achieve the right balance between the different flavors.
• You’ll learn to prepare salmon laap by experimenting with the various ingredient combinations that make up this traditional specialty.
• You’ll make a red curry with duck and lychees and discover how to combine spices and ingredients to create a fragrant and well-balanced curry.
• You’ll learn how to make meringue and discover the baking techniques needed to create a light and crispy Pavlova.
• You’ll create a decadent dessert featuring a Pavlova with mango and tropical fruits, working with the different textures and flavors that make up this creation.
• You’ll taste the dishes you’ve prepared, accompanied by a glass of wine, and enjoy a convivial moment with the chef and the other participants.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have discovered the fundamentals of Thai cuisine and several techniques for recreating well-balanced, aromatic recipes at home. A 3-hour experience to journey through the flavors of Thailand while sharing a convivial moment in the kitchen.
