Course of the workshop (1h):

• Welcome and introduction to tasting, to lay the foundations of sensory analysis and understand what distinguishes a Village appellation.
• Guided tasting of 3 carefully selectedBurgundy wines - Village appellations: a white wine from the Côte de Nuits, a red wine from the Côte de Beaune and a red wine from the Côte de Nuits.
• Read about aromas, structures and balance, with simple guidelines for identifying profiles and comparing styles.
• Focus on terroirs and grape varieties, to grasp the nuances between the Côtes and the influence of soil, climate and know-how.
• Time for free discussion with the sommelier, to ask your questions, share your feelings and enrich your understanding of wine.
