After collecting our equipment (bombs provided) and listening to our guides' recommendations, we mount our horses. Direction: the Sauvage ferry, a small, rustic ferry that, in just a few minutes, transports us... into another world.

Straddling the ferry, lulled by the gentle roll, we cross an arm of the Rhône. The adventure really begins here: we're entering the grounds of the Grand Radeau, a preserved site inaccessible to the public without special authorization. A rare privilege made possible by La Cavale.

The route: A wild and unspoilt Camargue

Duration: 3h - Levels: rider at ease with all three gaits (walk, trot, canter)

You'll discover:

For nearly three hours, we progress at the pace of walk, trot and sometimes gallop, through a landscape of raw beauty:

  • Pink flamingos as still as sculptures
  • Egrets hopping from marsh to marsh
  • Bulls grazing peacefully on open plains

Not a building, not a road. Just nature, untouched, immense. Your guide, passionate and attentive, shares anecdotes about the fauna, flora and traditions of this fascinating territory, while ensuring our safety with discretion.

Back at La Cavale, a warm welcome awaits us: homemade tapas and refreshments to share what we've just experienced, with smiles on our faces and stars in our eyes.
