Immerse yourself in the captivating world of ceramics with Ludivine, passionate about the arts of clay. This two-day workshop invites you to discover the fundamental gestures of throwing and to explore a variety of decorative techniques, in a friendly atmosphere conducive to creativity.

Workshop schedule (2 days) :

• Day 1 morning (9am-12pm): Welcome to the workshop, discovery of tools and different clay types. Ludivine guides you in learning how to throw: body positioning, centering the clay, modeling simple shapes such as bowls or cups.
• Day 1 afternoon (1:30 - 5:30 p.m.): Continuation of work on the lathe, with refinement of gestures and production of several pieces. Introduction to tournassage, a technique for refining shapes and adding finishes underneath the pieces.
• Day 2 morning (9am-12pm): Introduction to ceramic decoration: use of colored engobes, mochatis (blown ink effects) and graphitage (engravings on engobe). Learn the poncif technique for transferring motifs.
• Day 2 afternoon (1:30 - 5:30 p.m.): Finishing pieces, fine-tuning decorations, cleaning and preparing for firing. You take time to observe your creations, personalize them and experiment freely to your heart's content.
