Activity description :

Come and discover ceramics, and in particular stoneware, with Audrey in her studio in an art gallery in Suresnes, Hauts-de-Seine.

During this 2-day workshop, you'll learn how to manipulate clay to create the object of your choice for decoration or tableware. Give free rein to your imagination and indulge yourself! Audrey will guide you and adapt to your level, so you can see your project through to completion.

Course schedule (10h):

The course takes place over 2 days, on a weekend, and breaks down as follows: 4h of classes on Saturday afternoon and 6h on Sunday, with a 1h lunch break.
You'll work with smooth white stoneware and learn different shaping techniques: slab, pinched, colombin, pastillage.
Once you've made your objects, you'll learn how to decorate them with slip using the mishima or sgraffito technique. The hardest part will be choosing the color!
Audrey will take care of firing and glazing your objects. You'll be able to pick them up about 5 weeks after your workshop.

This workshop focuses on modeling, not throwing.
To book your 2-day workshop, reserve only the Saturday workshop and schedule the second with Audrey (usually the following day).
A minimum of 3 participants is required for the workshop to take place. If this is not the case, the partner will offer to reschedule your workshop to another date.
Make sure you wear dirt-resistant clothing.
