Discover Mathilde's workshop in Grenoble and her candle-making skills. She's keen to use second-hand containers to save as much crockery as possible from the recycling center. Let us guide you...
Course of the activity (1h30) :
- Welcome and introduction
- Preparation of containers and wicks
- Choice of mug or glass; you can bring your own container
- Place the wick
- Creating the candle mixture:
- Weighing, melting in a bain-marie, adding fragrance, pouring into container
- While your candle wax is setting, make the scented melts (~100g/pers., 5 to 10 melts each) using the same process.
- Personalization: add small local dried flowers to the bottom of the silicone molds, or cut out a paper "mantra" message and slip it inside.
- Decorate the candle with local dried flowers on top and finish.
