Join Véronique, a passionate ceramic artist, in her studio in Cholet for a ceramic modeling workshop. During this workshop, you’ll learn the basic techniques for creating your own ceramic pieces!
Workshop itinerary (2 hours):
- Introduction to and hands-on practice with slab-building techniques and engobe decoration.
- Choose the piece you’d like to make: mug with a handle, cup, candleholder, small vase...
- Learning the slab-building technique, assembling the piece, and decorating with engobe and sgraffito.
- Cleaning of the equipment used.
- Drying, glazing, and firing will be done by Véronique; you can pick up your pieces about a month and a half after the workshop.
After this pottery workshop, you’ll be eager to see your finished pieces and start using them every day!

- To take part in this workshop, plan to wear comfortable clothing suitable for practice and for cleaning up at the end of the workshop. Short fingernails and tied-back hair are also advisable.
