A workshop to express your creativity by creating a ceramic piece from A to Z!

Course of the workshop (3h) :

• Shaping your own piece: start with a ball of clay and give it the shape of your choice (mug, pocket dish, small vase...). Let your imagination run wild!
• Add a touch of color to engobe: colored earths are available to add details and patterns. Engobe is applied in small dabs: it's not applied uniformly over large areas like conventional paint, but leaves a beautiful handcrafted, textured appearance (visible brush marks).
• The craftswoman's job: after drying for a few days, I personally take care of the glazing and 2 firings in my professional kiln.
• The result: you get a creation as beautiful as it is useful, ready to join your everyday life.

A little something extra : Amélie is a passionate pastry chef, and will prepare a homemade snack (cookies, cakes...) to share with you during the workshop!
