Ceramic modeling workshop in Paris 17th district

Tara, a passionate ceramist, welcomes you to the 17th arrondissement for an introductory ceramics workshop. You can create the object of your choice: bowl, plate, soap dish, small vase or any other object that inspires you!

Workshop schedule (2h30) :

• Welcome and introduction to the workshop
• Presentation of modeling techniques, learning how to use the plate and pinch methods.
• Choice of piece to create: textured plate, bowl, small board or soap dish.
• Shaping the piece in white stoneware
• You'll be guided step-by-step through the creation of your piece, with personalized advice.
• Demonstration of decorating techniques (engobes, impressions, pastillage, textures and patterns) You will also be advised and guided in the various techniques for embellishing your piece.
• Drying, firing and glazing of your pieces by our workshop.
• Your creations will be ready after 6 weeks and kept for 2 months.
