Caroline welcomes you to the lively Ménilmontant district for an introductory ceramics workshop, where you can create the object of your choice. Come and shape your own plate, bowl, small board, soap dish or any other piece that inspires you.

Workshop schedule (2h30) :

Welcome and introduction to the workshop: presentation of modelling techniques, learning how to use the plate and pincé methods, with demonstrations of decoration techniques (engobes, impressions, pastillage, textures and motifs).
Choice of piece to create: textured plate, bowl, small board or soap dish. You can also come with your own idea, which we'll study together to adapt the project to technical constraints and workshop time.
White earthenware shaping: step-by-step guidance by Caroline, with personalized advice on decor and inspiration, and discovery of different techniques to embellish your piece.
Post-workshop: drying, firing and glazing of your pieces, handled by the workshop. Your creations will be ready after 6 weeks and stored for 2 months.
