This workshop, designed specifically for children, offers a gentle introduction to the material to help develop their sensory understanding through sight, smell, touch, and hearing.
Each child will be able to create a useful accessory of their choice: a keychain, coin purse, card holder, napkin rings, pen holder, pouch, notebook…
Workshop Schedule (1 hour):
- In a fun and educational way, the children will discover the leatherworking trades,
- They will also learn to respect this noble and costly material, to avoid waste, and to appreciate its value and origin.
- Each child will be able to create the item of their choice and will receive assistance from a craftsman if needed.
The goal is to help them be creative and feel proud of what they’ve made.
