Children's modeling & clay sculpture workshop near Bordeaux

Hasna welcomes your child to her workshop near Bordeaux to introduce them to clay. This workshop will allow them to learn the basics of the craft in a relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by the animals on the property.

Workshop Schedule (1 or 2 hours):

• Learning the techniques and basics of clay modeling and sculpting: coil building, slab building, three-dimensional forms, textured impressions, and the use of engobes.
• Free creation: children give shape to their ideas and imagination.
• Hasna provides guidance tailored to the children’s ages as well as their interests and needs. She will work alongside your child to introduce them to and help them discover clay modeling and sculpting.
• Creations are ready for pickup after firing: the turnaround time varies depending on the pieces and drying time.

About Hasna: Coming from a family of artists, Hasna inherited a passion for art. After five years of studying visual arts in Morocco under the guidance of established artist-teachers, she came to France to pursue a university degree in visual arts at the Logis du Roy Art Institute in Amiens. She has never lost touch with art and her practice, having helped lead creative and artistic workshops in schools and community organizations.
