Discover an unusual place near the Louvre and take part in a gin-making workshop. You'll be welcomed into this small artisan distillery for a unique experience that will enable you to create your own gin recipe using plants selected by you.

Course of the workshop (2h) :

Visit to the distillery with a spirits sommelier
Discover the principles of distillation, the role of botany and the different styles of gin available.
Choice of plants and herbs for your gin
Distill your own gin in your own copper pot still, with guidance from your trainer.
Tasting of gin and housecocktails throughout the workshop / small tasting plate
You'll leave with a personalized 70cl bottle of your own gin.

It was a gift I was given for my birthday, knowing that I liked gin. But I was slow to sign up, perhaps not sufficiently interested in the proposition. Seeing that the sell-by date was approaching, I went last night... and liked it a LOT. My congratulations go to Charlotte who led the workshop, a true professional, with a real talent for communicating and getting people interested. I learned a lot about how gin is made... and above all, I learned about all the nuances of taste it can have. The workshop set-up is a real success: the big still, the little stills, our blending menu, the tastings (very well timed so that you can leave "normally" at the end), the little plate of appetizers, etc. I'm sure I'll be back again. I'm sure I'll be telling people about it... it's a great gift idea. And many thanks again to Charlotte for the way she ran her workshop!
