Activity description :

Back from her third stay in an Australian Aboriginal community, Céline offers you an introductory workshop in Aboriginal painting! She'll share her knowledge and experience through this workshop, and suggest you create a painting.

Workshop schedule (3 hours) :

• Welcome and introduction to the activity
• Presentation of Aboriginal culture , using Aboriginal art objects and documentation.
• Discovery and production of ochre-based paints
• Creation of an A3 painting inspired by Aboriginal paintings.
• Each participant leaves with his or her own creation

Céline shared her experience of Aboriginal culture with passion. I loved this workshop, which took me on a journey into this unknown world. I learned a lot about aboriginal rituals. I really enjoyed the workshop where we learned how to mix ochre powders with binder and water to make a painting. Céline guided us in choosing the theme of our Aboriginal-inspired painting through books and photos. Thank you so much Céline for sharing your experience and for your teaching skills.
