Discover Avoriaz and the surrounding area in the company of a professional musher! You'll take charge of a team of 2 or 3 dogs and learn how to steer them along breathtaking snowy trails!
How does it work?
Duration: 2h30 to 3h in total - From 6 years old to sit in the sled and from 10 years old to take the dog team in hand - Up to 8 people - Good physical condition required.
When you arrive, you'll meet the huskies that make up the team. You'll watch as the harnesses are fitted, and then receive a briefing on how to drive the sled dog team. Then it's off for a 2-hour ride.
Don't hesitate to come and enjoy an unusual and incredible experience with your friends or family. You'll love getting up close and personal with the Huskys, and discovering incredible landscapes of powder snow, slopes and fir forests!

Too sporty for me. Falls are to be expected as we start with 2 big bends. A smoother start would be more appropriate. A helmet wouldn't be a luxury either. Once you've descended... you'll have to climb back up, walking and pushing your sled. Not all the dogs are very young. The sled doesn't pull itself up. We ended up at the osteopath's the next day.
