Activity description :

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of working with clay and learn the potter's craft! This two-part workshop invites you to shape up to two ceramic pieces: bowls, dishes or small candleholders, as you wish!

Workshop schedule (2 sessions of 2h30) :

Session 1: Introduction to the potter's wheel

• A warm welcome over tea or coffee.
• Discover the wheel and learn the essential gestures to center the clay and give shape to your creations.
• The craftswoman will accompany you as you make your first pieces.

Session 2: Modeling and finishing

• Clean and perfect your pieces.
• Add a foot, handle or small decorative elements in modeling.
• Customize with tools to create unique decorations.

At the end of the session, you'll leave your work with the craftswoman, who will take care of drying, transparent enameling and double firing.

A creative moment in two parts to reconnect with the material and leave (soon!) with handmade pieces full of charm and character!
