A passionate instructor and professional, Hervé invites you to take the controls of his microlight to discover the panoramic views of the Nantes and Retz regions. You’ll take your seat aboard a Storch 2020 HS microlight, made entirely of composite materials. The cockpit is enclosed and heated.

Ultralight Flying in the Pays de la Loire: Thrills Guaranteed

From the St. Nazaire airfield, you’ll take off heading west toward the coast and the ocean. You’ll enjoy views of the Jade and Amour coasts, the Loire estuary, and—depending on the direction—Noirmoutier Island, La Baule, or the Croisic headland. For 1.5- or 2-hour flights, the Île d’Yeu or the Gulf of Morbihan in Brittany. During your journey, you’ll discover various remarkable sites along the way, such as castles and manor houses, as well as other unique locations.

Flight Procedure:

• Welcome at the airfield: meet your instructor, receive a briefing on safety rules, the aircraft’s components, and the flight procedure.
• Board the ultralight and receive a final briefing.
• Takeoff performed by the instructor.
• A flight lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the package you choose: you ’ll take the controls of the ultralight and perform various maneuvers. The instructor will help you understand the fundamentals of flight mechanics.
• The instructor will take back control for the landing.
• Debriefing with the flight instructor.

This introductory flight combines the joys of travel with the fundamentals of flying. Whether you’re doing it yourself or giving it as a gift, it’s a wonderful experience.
