Manon welcomes you to her studio for a private pottery-throwing class. You're going to love this pottery workshop!

Workshop Schedule (2 hours):

Welcome and theoretical introduction to ceramics (different types of clay, firing techniques, tools, etc.)
Demonstration of the techniques used on the wheel to shape the clay and create a form (pot, cup, or bowl).
Throwing your own pieces by working with your hands in the clay (white stoneware) and discovering the sensations of the wheel.

At the end of the session, each participant may keep two pieces, which Manon will finish (by turning), glaze with food-safe glaze, and fire twice. You’ll then be able to pick up your creations approximately 6 to 8 weeks later.
