A day to learn the main basic techniques of woodworking. With the guidance of Hubert, a professional carpenter, you’ll build a small shelf.

Workshop Schedule (8:30 a.m.):

• Welcome and tour of the facility and equipment, followed by an explanation of the safety guidelines to follow during the workshop.
• You’ll learn basic skills such as: preparing cuts, marking joints, using a hand saw and wood chisel… as well as modern techniques like routing moldings and preparing wood with a jointer and planer.
• You’ll leave with your own small wooden shelf, ready to be installed.
