Come and discover the art of leatherwork through a 100% DIY workshop, with Cerise artisan maroquiniè ;re! During this workshop you'll make a unique leather belt.
Workshop schedule: (3 hours 30 minutes)
- Introduction to the different types of leather used to make belts.
- Choosing your vegetable-tanned leather color and buckle
- Tracing and marking markings or grinding edges
- Finishing the edges with the abat-carre and drilling the belt holes
- Dyeing the lengths, flesh and grain sides of the leather .
- Personalization: you can hammer in a few decorative motifs, a love note or a date!
You'll leave with a unique belt 100% made by you! This workshop is a great gift idea for someone who loves creative hobbies and wants to learn more about handicrafts.
