Join Anne-Charlotte and Frédérique for an introductory pottery wheel workshop! With them, discover the basic techniques of wheel-throwing and shape your own ceramic bowl in a small group.
Workshop itinerary (2 hours):
- Introduction to Axelle’s world and an exploration of clay, including how to knead it.
- Learn how to center the clay on the wheel, then build it up, step by step.
- Shape your bowl with personalized guidance from Axelle.
- Experience the sensations and techniques of pottery, watching your creation come to life in your hands.
- Finishing touches on your piece, which will then be dried, fired, glazed, and fired a second time.
You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind creation, made with your own hands: your ceramic bowl, which you can pick up a few weeks later, ready to become part of your daily life. A unique and inspiring workshop, perfect for discovering the art of pottery!
