Located in the heart of the Rambouillet forest, 40 km from Paris, the Haras de la Cense is an equestrian training center based on the human-horse relationship. Its pioneering courses are built around horse education and equine ethology, the science of horse behavior. The Méthode La Cense pedagogy is innovative, thanks to a progression accessible to all, professionals and amateurs alike.

Come and discover the world of horses at La Cense during a safe ride. Accompanied by your guide, you'll discover the Rambouillet forest during a 2-hour excursion.

Course of the activity :

Meet at the Jean Rochefort riding school 15 minutes before the start of your tour.
You'll be kitted out and pick up your horse.
Before you set off, your guide will introduce you to the Man-Horse relationship, in just a few minutes, using the La Cense Method.
Departure for a 2-hour guided ride through the forest. Several itineraries are available.

An unforgettable experience! For 2 hours, we enjoyed a magnificent escapade on horseback in the middle of the forest. Léa accompanied us with great professionalism, kindness and good humor, which made the ride even more enjoyable. The horses were gentle and very well supervised, and the natural setting offered a moment of total relaxation and disconnection. Take the A10 towards Orléans
Take exit 10 - Dourdan/Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines
At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto the D149
Drive 1.5km, then take the second exit at the traffic circle, onto the D988
The Haras de la Cense will be on your right at kilometer 27.
- By train from Paris :
Take the RER C towards Dourdan La Forêt, and get off at the Dourdan stop.
Take the RER B towards Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse and get off at the terminus.
Take the Transilien N towards Rambouillet and get off at Rambouillet.
On arrival, we advise you to book a cab to the Haras.
