Activity description :

Have you always dreamed of becoming a Koh-Lanta or Mike Horn adventurer and developing your survival skills for an expedition? Eléonore and her team of instructors offer you a survival course near Etampes in the Essonne department.

Your survival course in Essonne

Duration: 2 days / 1 night - Ages 16 and over - No special physical requirements

Your guide: you will be accompanied by Eléonore or a member of her team. The instructors are qualified in various specialties (AeM, high mountain guide, CQP randonnée, BPJEPS, maitre nageur) and are selected for their teaching qualities.

You will learn :

  • Water & food: how to find and purify water, what wild plants are edible, what insects you can eat, how to create and set traps.
  • Shelter: how to build a shelter to spend a decent night in your bivouac.
  • Thermal regulation: understanding the problems of cold and heat, starting a fire in poor conditions.
  • Moving around: overcoming obstacles using knots, finding your bearings with or without equipment.

At the end of the weekend, you'll have the basics to prepare your first bivouacs in a wide range of environments, and to secure your outings alone. This survival course in the Paris region is ideal for budding adventurers or for those wishing to test their limits.

Course managed by David. A welcoming and engaging person, very professional, reassuring, and full of good humor. Clear explanations put into practice with mastery. We tried out different techniques for making fire, the use of a compass, ate ants' eggs for the more adventurous, it was all great fun. Bravo and thank you David. I'd like to recommend

Super WE with a great sense of cohesion between the participants and David, who was an excellent guide. He introduced us to various resourceful techniques for feeding, warming and sheltering ourselves... always in a good mood. The only downside was the rain on Saturday and a chilly night, but that didn't stop us! It's all part of survival. A great experience
