Tea preparation and tasting workshop in Paris 9th district

Lauren will teach you how to prepare and taste different varieties of tea during a sensory immersion. You'll discover teas from different regions, each with its own distinctive taste!

Course of the workshop (2h):

• Discovery of tasting mechanisms: taste, smell, touch, sight
• Test several teas from different regions: green tea, black tea, oolong, rooibos, herbal tea...
• Awareness of the role of the senses: olfactory, gustatory, visual and tactile.
• Identify the main families of odors
• Tasting a variety of teas

Your trainer: Lauren Pascault is a tea expert trained by the International Tea Masters Association. Lauren has 10 years' experience in the retail trade (specialized counters and delicatessens) and in teaching, both to the general public and to sales and catering professionals. She has been offering tasting workshops and tailor-made training courses since 2017, and has co-organized several events to promote tea in France: the Concours des Thés du Monde of the Agence pour la Valorisation des Produits Agricoles(AVPA), the Journées Internationales du Thé en France, and the Tea Masters Cup France.
