Built at the end of the 19th century by architect Léon Ginain for the Duchesse de Galliera in the Beaux-Arts style, this architectural gem near the Trocadéro today houses the Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris. Its collections - over 250,000 items of clothing and accessories- are among the richest in the world, reflecting the codes of dress and clothing habits in France from the 18th century to the present day.
