Are you hesitating between the dynamic experience of the potter's wheel and the serenity of manual modeling? With this duo formula, there's no need to choose! Experience an introduction to ceramics for two.

A creative, playful and relaxing moment, perfect for an introduction to this art form while sharing a complementary activity.

Course of the workshop (2h or 3h) :

• Introduction to ceramics and the specificities of the two techniques: throwing and modeling.
• Each participant chooses his or her preferred method (exchange possible during the session).
• Turning: learning the basic gestures for shaping a bowl, pot or plate.
• Modeling: create a piece by hand using a variety of artisanal techniques (pinched, colombin, plate, etc.).
• Personalized guidance throughout the creative process.
• Engobe decoration possible for modeled pieces.
• Choice of enamel (from several colors) for turned pieces.
• Finishing, turning and enameling will be carried out by Emmanuelle.

After firing and glazing, you'll be able to pick up your creations approximately 2 to 3 weeks later. Take home one or more unique, handmade pieces, and learn the basics of ceramics in a friendly, accessible class!
