Join Paul for a woodcarving workshop and make your own wooden spoon! Paul works with various types of wood, such as cherry, walnut, and pear, and you can choose the one you’d like to use for your creation. This introductory workshop will allow you to explore the material and gradually become familiar with the tools and techniques of woodworking.

Workshop itinerary:

• Explore the different types of wood and choose your material from cherry, walnut, or pear.
• Get a feel for the carving tools and learn the basic techniques.
• Choose the shape of your spoon: small, flat, round, or something more original.
• Work the wood, carving hollows and curves using knives and gouges, guided by Paul.
• Gradually shape your wooden spoon, chip by chip, until it takes its final form.

You’ll leave with your very own wooden spoon, crafted by your own hands and ready for everyday use or to be displayed as a decorative piece. A creative and hands-on workshop, perfect for discovering the techniques of woodworking and learning how to craft a one-of-a-kind piece.
