Activity description :

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of forging with Jocelyn during two consecutive days at his workshop in Amboise. An immersive experience where you'll benefit from personalized guidance to create your own unique knife.

Course of the workshop (2 days):

  • During the first day, immerse yourself in the creation of a Damascus billet of 20 to 80 layers, give shape to your knife, and explore the crucial stages of standardization and holding, including heat treatments of the blade.
  • The second day is dedicated to putting the finishing touches to your creation. You'll discover how to temper and temper the blade, and learn how to make the handle that you'll proudly mount on your knife.
  • At the end of these two exciting days, you'll leave with your own hand-forged masterpiece!

  • The workshop fee covers all the days detailed in the description. Reservations on our website are for the first session only. Subsequent sessions must be scheduled directly with Jocelyn. In the case of consecutive days, the rest of the workshop will automatically take place the day after the first day booked.
  • Don't forget to bring your lunch for a well-deserved refreshment break. You can also eat in the charming town of Amboise.
  • We recommend that you bring cotton clothing, preferably the kind you're less fond of, as well as safety shoes, if available. Don't forget to have water on hand. These precautions will ensure your comfort and safety during the workshop.
