This workshop invites you to discover turning, an art combining technique and creativity. Over two consecutive days, Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Elena, Katya and their team will guide you step by step to learn the fundamental gestures of the lathe and create your first unique pieces. An experience combining learning, precision and the pleasure of creating with your hands.

Course outline (2 x 5h = 10h):

• Introduction to throwing: posture, anchoring the body and essential gestures.
• Clay preparation and installation on the wheel.
• Working with the material to give it shape and volume.
• Selection, with the craftswoman, of the most finished pieces to be kept for firing and glazing.
• The pieces are then sent to the workshop for drying, firing and glazing.
• Final time for storage and cleaning.

The average time required to recover your creations is around 2 months.

A workshop that combines technique, concentration and manual pleasure, where throwing becomes an art of the gesture... an experience to offer yourself or to share!
