Try your hand at the potter’s wheel during a small-group workshop lasting 7 hours, divided into two 3.5-hour sessions (Saturday and Sunday). Get your hands dirty and enjoy this peaceful experience. You’ll discover the joy of feeling the clay and watching the raw earth gradually take shape in your hands. Please note: The booking calendar only shows Saturday, but by reserving this time slot, you’ll automatically be signed up for both weekend sessions (Saturday and Sunday, at the same times).

Workshop Schedule (over 2 days):

Session 1—Saturday afternoon (3.5 hours):

• Introduction to wheel-throwing, learning the basic techniques, and hands-on practice on a potter’s wheel (one person per wheel)
• Creating a few pieces of your choice
• The clay then needs to rest overnight to allow it to set.

Session 2 – Sunday afternoon (3.5 hours at the same time):

• You’ll return to your pieces to refine them: turning, adding embellishments, scoring, scratching, and applying colors to your liking using engobes made in the studio.
• The ceramic artists will then take care of your creations: firing and glazing according to your choices, so that the pieces you’ve created are unique and just the way you like them!
