Your Survival & Rafting Course in the Marais Poitevin

Duration: 2 days / 1 night - Ages 16 and up - No specific physical fitness requirements

During this survival course, you’ll explore the heart of the Marais Poitevin, just a stone’s throw from Niort. You’ll discover unique, breathtaking landscapes.

Your guide: You’ll be accompanied by Denis Tribaudeau or a member of his team. Everyone on the team is passionate about survival and nature! So you’re in excellent hands!

You’ll learn:

• How to build rafts
• Theoretical overview of survival: starting a fire without a lighter (if permitted, we’ll build a small campfire), setting up shelters, preparing meals, trapping, and a review of current regulations regarding trapping and open fires in France
• Introduction to first aid: signaling, evacuating the injured, map reading, sun orientation, topography, and compass use.
• Go on an active hike: foraging, gathering, navigating obstacles, observing the environment, wildlife, flora, and geography
