Your special cold-weather survival course in the Jura
Duration: 3 days / 2 nights - Ages 16 and over - No special physical requirements
Your guide: you will be accompanied by Denis Tribaudeau or a member of his team. All team members are passionate about survival and nature! So you're in excellent hands!
You'll learn :
- Basics of survival in the cold and snow: priorities, hazards, objectives, task allocation, risk awareness
- Getting your bearings: vegetation observation, stress management, foraging
- Eating and drinking: picking wild fruits and vegetables, recognizing edible plants, observing the natural environment, finding water and making it drinkable, trapping, preparing meals over an open fire, collecting edible insects, building and handling weapons, fishing.
This survival course in the Jura is ideal for all those who want to push themselves to the limit and enjoy the thrills!

Unprecedented experience with 1 excellent trainer Rémi very pedagogical and available. Good group and good weather, even if there was no snow. A night at - 7 felt nevertheless with a night under the stars and especially under 1 very illuminating moon.

- By car: 1 hour and 20 minutes from Geneva via the A40
Know before you go
- Please select your desired internship start date from the calendar.
- Cameras and GoPros are allowed. However, cell phones and camcorders are prohibited.
- Bring:
- a backpack
- a knife
- a "fire-resistant" metal mess kit
- a snow shovel, if possible
- a sleeping bag (-5 or -10°C or warmer)
- sleeping pad (inflatable if possible)
- "extreme cold" clothing (pants or overalls, waterproof parka)
- two T-shirts, including one long-sleeved
- a fleece or other thermal garment
- two spare pairs of socks
- high-top, lined hiking boots (for walking in powder snow or with gaiters)
- a pair of gloves, a hat, or a balaclava
- a water bottle
- a mess kit, a spoon, and a metal cup
- a headlamp
- a pair of sunglasses
- a 30-liter trash bag
- compass (if already purchased)
- Camera and GoPro allowed
- Phones without SIM cards are allowed
