2-day tour initiation in Marseille 9th district

Immerse yourself in the captivating world of the potter's wheel with two days of creative initiation!

Course (2 days) :

Day 1: Introduction to the wheel (10 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

• Learn the basics of potter's wheel by shaping bowls and cylinders.
• Gradually, you increase the quantities of clay to create more ambitious shapes: olive vases, small salad bowls...
• The aim: to gain confidence and enjoyment in throwing!

Day 2: Personalizing your pieces (1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.)

• Selection and turning (creation of the bowl base) of your 4 favorite pieces
• Add handles, decorations, finishes and colored engobes.
• An ideal time to hone your skills and refine your technique.
• You can bring your own lunch to eat at the workshop.

At the end of the workshop, you can lend a hand with cleaning, then hand over your creations to the craftswoman. She'll take care of drying, glazing and two firings.

You'll be able to pick up your pieces a few weeks later, ready to embellish your everyday life with authenticity!
