Discover the world of Champagne on a tour that will awaken all five of your senses. You’ll take a journey back in time to learn about the origins of the soil (sedimentary rock), the challenges faced in the 1900s, the different grape varieties, vineyard work, and the new challenges posed by global warming. All these elements combine to make Champagne truly exceptional!

Tour itinerary (1 hour 30 minutes):

• Explanations using videos and animations: how and why is the Champagne region’s soil ideal for making Champagne? Geology, climate, the hidden aspects of the vineyard, and the work of winemakers and oenologists all contribute to the creation of this sparkling wine.
• During this tour, all your senses will be engaged—first touch and sight, then hearing, followed by smell, and finally taste with the famous tasting.
• Tasting of two Champagnes from two different producers—whether small-scale winemakers or better-known Houses. Grape juice will be provided for children.
