Discover the fundamentals of drawing and leave with a solid foundation!

In this workshop, the artist-instructor will guide you in mastering the essential basics of observational drawing. You’ll work on fundamental concepts—proportions, composition, perspective, shadows, and depth—to create accurate and realistic drawings.

Workshop Schedule (6 hours):

• Part 1: Master the fundamentals of drawing. You’ll begin by developing your observational skills through progressive exercises focused on proportions, composition, and the construction of a still life. You’ll discover simple and effective tools for analyzing a subject and rendering it with precision.
• 1-hour lunch break.
• Part 2: Add depth to your drawings. You’ll put the concepts covered in the first part into practice by working on shadows, values, and contrasts to bring depth and volume to your artwork. With personalized guidance from your artist-instructor, you’ll create a polished drawing.
• At the end of the day, a group session provides an opportunity to discuss and appreciate the work you’ve created together.
