Dive into the world of brewing and discover the secrets of home brewing. In this friendly, participatory workshop, you'll learn the basics of brewing, from choosing the right ingredients to fermentation.
Workshop schedule (2h30) :
- Presentation of the ingredients: malt, hops, yeast, water; and their roles in the different combinations possible, depending on the style of beer required.
- Discover brewing equipment and explain how to use it.
- Discover each stage of the brewing process _ ask any questions you may have
- Tasting of local craft beers to compare styles
- Tips for brewing at home

The aim of this workshop is to help you understand the brewing process and awaken your taste buds to the diversity of craft beer styles.

Hello, In a pleasant setting, I received the first information on the craft brewing method and in particular on the question of how to brew beer at home. The person who held the course is himself a craft brewer in Strasbourg. So he was able to give very practical and intelligible indications on the different stages of home brewing, the processes involved, the equipment needed and the ingredients. He was able to answer all our questions. We were shown the various pieces of equipment, saw and even tasted some of the ingredients. Meanwhile, the brewer let us taste two of his beers, explaining how to taste and put into words the different aromas. It all went very well for me. A course to recommend for those who want to know a bit more about beer and possibly brew some at home. Sincerely, Axel Bussek
