Ceramic engraving workshop in Aix-en-Provence (13)

Raphaëlle and Eva are delighted to welcome you to a ceramic engraving workshop! Sgraffito is a ceramic decoration technique that consists in delicately and precisely engraving a motif in clay.

Course of the workshop (2h):

• After a presentation of the tools, you'll watch a demonstration of plate and mold modeling, a very simple technique accessible to all, which you'll then reproduce.
• You'll then discover the sgraffito engraving technique and create your own motif, based on your own drawings or inspired by the many models on offer.
• After the workshop, your pieces will need to dry slowly before undergoing a first firing (called "cookie"), followed by enameling.
• Your creations will be ready for pick-up a few weeks after the workshop, and can be stored for up to three months.

Over the course of 2 hours, you'll learn new skills and finally leave with your very own personalized piece!
